Deep in the South Australian outback lies Coober Pedy, one of the world's most famous opal-mining towns.
Surrounded by red earth, open skies and rugged landscapes, our family's connection to opal began here — searching beneath the Australian soil for one of nature's most remarkable treasures.
No two opals are ever quite the same.
Each stone reveals its own combination of colours, patterns and flashes of light. Brilliant blues can sit beside vibrant greens, fiery reds, soft violets and an entire rainbow of colours within a single stone.
